Protection of Foreign Investments in Europe - Perspectives & Solutions
On 5th July 2018, the International Investment Law Centre Cologne (IILCC) invited academics, practitioners and students to the conference "Protection of Foreign Investments in Europe - Perspectives & Solutions". The conference, which opened the new series of "Santander Roundtable Discussions on International Economic Law", was held in response to the judgment of the Court of Justice of the European Union in the Achmea case.
The lively discussion was made possible by Prof. Dr. Isabel Feichtner (University of Würzburg), Prof. Ursula Kriebaum (University of Vienna), Dr. Martins Paparinskis (University College London), Dr. Tim Maxian Rusche (European Commission), and Prof. Dr. Stephan Schill (University of Amsterdam). We would also like to thank all participants for their numerous attendance and interest in the event. Speakers and participants had the possibility to continue the discussion over food and drinks.
The conference programme of the event can be found here.
The conference report can be found in the European Journal of Business Law (EuZW 2018, 837 - beck-online).
