ISDS Reform & Multilateral Investment Court

Investor-State Dispute Resolution (ISDS) is subject to controversial discussion due to its relevance for society and political activity. Since 2018, a reform process of the ISDS System is conducted under the auspices of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL). This process, which is currently taking place on an intergovernmental level, could lead to the creation of a Multilateral Investment Court in the future. The IILCC supports and analyses this process with its academic activities, which i.a. include the creation of the IILCC Study Group on ISDS Reform. Find publications and events below:
